TERMS
·We require a $250.00
Reservation Fee to rent a travel trailer. This fee is nonrefundable upon
cancellation, but will be applied to your rental charges when you come in to
pay and pick up your R.V. If Reservation is cancelled at least 5 days ahead of
time, reservation fee can be used up to a year later.
When you rent a travel trailer, there is a $500.00 damage deposit that must be left on a Major Credit Card. We simply authorize the amount of the deposit. If there are any monies owed Bayview RV when you return the trailer your card will be charged at that time.
We reserve the right to refuse any applicant.
Complete operating instructions are given at time of departure. The walk thru will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete.
· Fees that could be deducted
from your deposit upon return of your trailer or R.V. are as follows:
1 If the R.V. is not cleaned on the inside and
the outside, a cleanup fee will be charged at $40.00 per hour with a 1 hour
minimum.
2. If the holding tank is not emptied and
rinsed out with water a $50.00 fee will be assessed.
*PLEASE NOTE-YOU MUST LEAVE THE DUMP VALVES OPEN
WHEN YOU RETURN THE UNIT SO WE KNOW THAT IT HAS BEEN DUMPED. AN AUTOMATIC
$50.00 WILL BE CHARGED IF THE VALVES ARE NOT
3. Propane is $5.00 a day if the propane seals are broken.
4. If any part is not returned there will be
$10.00 plus cost fee. (ex: keys, electrical converters, etc.)
5. Awning
on units ARE NOT TO BE USED.
All awnings are locked. If the lock has been tampered with there will be a
$25.00 charge.
6. If there is ANY damage to the trailer, your credit card will be charged without exception. If the damage is covered by your insurance company, you will need to contact them ASAP.
7. Tow vehicle must have a receiver mounted under the bumper and a 7 way trailer plug. The vehicle must also have a an electric brake controller. (SEE FIG. 1 )
8. If you have a late model vehicle, we will possibly be able to rent a brake controller to you for $25.00 a rental period..
9.
NO SMOKING OR PETS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE! If unit is smoked in or animals are
allowed inside there will be a
$250.00 fee, no exceptions !
10.You MUST call your insurance company prior to
picking up your trailer to make sure the trailer is
covered. If it is not, have your insurance agent adjust your coverage
accordingly. You need comprehensive and collison coverage for any damage that
may occur to the rented unit, or any other vehicles involved. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY
OCCUR TO THE RENTAL VEHICLE AND ANY
OTHER INVOLVED PARTIES, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE!!! I
also agree to cooperate in any claim for damage to the rental unit and I agree
to report such claim to my insurance carrier.
11. To rent a trailer you must
be at least 25 years of age and bring a
valid driver’s license, current proof of insurance, and a major credit card.
The proof of insurance must be for the vehicle towing the trailer, and the
driver’s license and insurance must be for all who are pulling the trailer.
12. AM Pickups and Drop-Offs are to be between
10:00 AM and NOON. PM Pickups and Drop-Offs are to be between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM Monday thru Friday. Saturday
pick or drop off is by appointment only. We are
closed on Sunday. All units will be charged a $25.00 per hour late fee. If you
are running late, please have the courtesy to call and let us know.
13. If you have ANY problems with your trailer , please call our office during normal business hours for prior authorization regarding what to do about the problem. Any repairs that are authorized will be refunded with a valid receipt. If you have a flat tire, please try and locate the spare tire and change it out. If you have an after-hours emergency, you can call our cell phone at 281-334-4743. If we do not answer we will call you back as soon as possible. If you are involves in an accident please notify us within 24 hours. A full written police accident report must be submitted to our management upon your return. Failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of your security deposit. We take all measures necessary to make sure your trailer or motor home is in perfect condition when you pick it up, but we cannot prevent all incidentals that may occur, this is the risk you take when renting an R.V.
14. TERMS AND RATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. Any additional terms will be disclosed at the time of the rental agreement is signed.
